On April 6th we had Mia baptized at our home church, University Presbyterian. It was a very special day! Mia was a little wiggle worm while we waited our turn at the front of the church, but it was still a wonderful occasion. It was wonderful to have most of my family and several of our close friends and friends from church attend the baptism.
We chose Ephesians 3:17-19 for Mia:
"I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
may have power, together with all the saints,
to grasp how wide and long and high and deep
is the love of Christ,
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-
that you may be filled to the measure of
all the FULLNESS of God."
That is our prayer.
Unfortunately, most of the pics from the actual baptism are pretty blurry.
