Easter at the lake!

Our little Easter Bunny!

We enjoyed spending Easter at Lake Whatcom this past weekend with friends and family... Unfortunately, like most places in the Seattle area, it rained hard on Easter morning, so the easter egg hunt had to be indoors, but the kids did not seem to care one bit! Eggs are eggs, filled wtih goodies, and their smiling faces abounded.

All the kiddos on Easter- Hailey, Bryce, Marissa, Mia, Chloe, Chloe and Cameron
With Papa The big girls "helping" Mia find her eggsMia got to have her first taste of chocolate, and quickly learned how delicious it is! She repeatedly went to the bowl of chocolates and said "candy" and "some"
(meaning, mommy open that chocolate egg NOW).
Grandma Sandee and Grandpa Frank with all their grandkids
Cousin Chloe reading books with Mia in their new matching jammies!
Marissa, Mia and Chloe in matching jammies!
Chloe Conrad looking adorable!
I like Easter!
Mia found more candy...

Kid art! Stamping and coloring the tablecloth

The only time when I can actually catch a candid smile on my little girl-
when she is OUTSIDE getting dirty. Hah! She's my little girl? How did this happen?

We arrived in Bellingham Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the beautifully sunny afternoon on the lake. Mia was of course in heaven, since she is such an outdoors-y girl now... she immediately went straight for the door and said "outside..."

A BIG chair to climb into!

Pondering the lake and all the fun things outside!
We decided to let Mia roam on the beach and of course she headed straight for the water. The near freezing temperature did not even phase her! Yes, those are her bare feet in the freezing lake and she didn't even flinch. Can't wait to bring her back this summer!

Looking for birdies with grandma
She found her Easter basket a little early!
Where's the Easter Bunny? Hey, that's me!
On the run
